Ways we can work together

Every organization carries its own history, strengths, and strains, so no two engagements look the same. What stays constant is how I work: from pakikiramdam, deep attunement to what is felt across the many layers of the field; from kapwa, the shared self at the core of my belief that inner work is communal work; and from kaginhawaan, the conviction that liberatory practice must ensure flourishing and fullness of breath for all. Below are the ways we can begin. If you're not sure which fits, that is a good place to start a conversation.

Every partnership begins with a Full Yes Check

Do we both have the capacity, the consent and the care to walk together?

How the work unfolds

Whatever form our work takes, it moves through four movements, again and again, as a cycle rather than a checklist.

KAMALAYAN (Awareness)

Sensing and noticing patterns in leaders, teams, programs, and the communities you serve. Many patterns began as protection: rigidity that braces against threat, porosity that absorbs what isn't ours to carry. Bringing them into awareness, our kamalayan, without judgment, helps us recognize what once kept us safe and what returns us to our resourced state. Every state is information: tension, fatigue, and emotion are data waiting to be understood, witnessed, and held. When pain surfaces, we ask what structures produced it and whether it is still operating.

PAKIKIRAMDAM (Attunement)

Understanding the narratives, histories, and judgments that shape how your organization feels and acts. Pakikiramdam moves through four layers: sensing within, sensing between, sensing the depth, and sensing what is emerging. In practice, we tune in to words that land with more weight than the moment warrants, and gently ask whose fear, grief, and unhealed histories they might carry. With curiosity and compassion, we also explore what lies beneath the waterline and what is unfolding in the field.

PAKIKIPAGKAPWA (Alignment)

Reconnecting to your core: who you are, what you stand for, and the shared self that binds you to others. Kapwa is a self that only exists in relationship, and dangal, our inner dignity, is something no one can take away. When people see each other through shared humanity, their connection grows dense enough to hold real tension without fracturing.

LAKAS NG LOOB  (Agency)

Exploring healing, opening possibilities, and taking congruent next steps together. Lakas ng loob is courage from the interior: the capacity to carry a resourced self into collective action, so influence can move without domination. Trauma resides across generations; healing happens in one, and what we metabolize now becomes the ground the next generation stands on.

Work with me

Rooted in Filipino psychology, neuroscience, and healing histories, I walk alongside leaders and organizations working toward a more just world, from the inside out.

DEEP WORK

Organizational Accompaniment

A long-term partnership for CEOs, Executive Directors, and leadership teams reimagining their organizations from the inside out.

What shifts: Leaders lead from a settled body rather than a braced or porous one. Teams orient to what is strong. Programs reflect the care, connection, and culture within. Communities are met as partners, and the work moves from saviorism to stewardship.

Format: A sensing phase of four to six weeks, then a tailored partnership of six to twelve months, with a monthly rhythm of coaching, team sessions, and retreats.

This may be for you if:

  • Your organization has a strong mission and committed people, and you sense its ways of working no longer match its values
  • You are holding more than anyone sees, and want a thinking and sensing partner beside you
  • You are entering a threshold: a new strategy, a leadership transition, growth, restructuring, or recovery after rupture
  • You want care, equity, and wellbeing to move from statements into daily practice

What accompaniment can include:

  • Leadership coaching for the CEO or ED, grounded in nervous system literacy and pakikiramdam
  • Leadership team sessions to build trust, shared language, and practices of repair
  • Culture sensing: listening across the organization to what is said and unsaid
  • Review of programs and services against your organization's strengths and values
  • Salutogenic practices woven into how you meet, decide, rest, and repair
  • Design and facilitation of team retreats and community calls

safer and brave spaces

Facilitation and Mediation

Holding spaces where people can practice pakikiramdam, be in kapwa, and repair together: within teams, across organizations, and throughout networks and coalitions.

The principle I bring: Among the T'boli of the Philippines, when conflict arises between the weavers of a t'nalak, they stop. They tend the rift first, because the energy each person carries becomes part of what is woven. I bring this to every room I hold: what is unresolved between us, and within our ancestral and cultural histories, will always surface in the work.

Format:  We can work together for a single session or retreat, or through a process of support over several months.

This may be for you if:

  • You are gathering people to co-create a strategy, a vision, or new ways of working, and want the process to embody the values you hold
  • Tension has gone unspoken in your team, between departments, or between parts of your network, or it has already broken open
  • You are bringing together partners, members, or communities across regions, cultures, and power differences
  • You want gatherings that leave people more connected and resourced, not more depleted

What it can include:

  • Design and facilitation of retreats, strategy sessions, convenings, and community calls, online and in person
  • Mediation and repair processes when conflict or rupture arises within teams, between leaders, or across a network
  • Cross-network and multi-stakeholder facilitation that holds diverse voices and uneven power with care
  • Sensing the relational field before, during, and after gatherings
  • Agreements and rituals that let collaboration hold friction without fracturing

DEEP WORK

Leadership Programs and Trainings

Bring healing-centered leadership and liberatory practices into your organization, fellowship, or cohort through an established program or a co-designed training.

What it can include:

  • Program and curriculum design rooted in Healing-Centered Leadership and Liberatory Practices
  • Facilitation of workshops, sessions, retreats, and peer circles, online or in person
  • Practices and tools participants carry back into their teams and communities

This may be for you if:

  • You fund or run a fellowship, cohort, or leadership program, and your fellows are brilliant, committed, and often depleted.
  • You want your leaders and staff to share a language and practice for care, repair, and relational leadership.
  • You want learning that tends wellbeing, belonging and collective care alongside skills and strategy.

Two ways to bring it in:

  • The Healing-Centered Leadership Program, in-house. The journey is refined across cohorts of the Community of Practice, adapted for your organization, fellowship, or leadership team. We co-sense and co-design the duration and depth of involvement.
  • Bespoke trainings. Workshops or learning series designed with you around what your people need, drawing from  nervous system literacy, liberatory practices, Filipino psychology, HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences), and neuroinclusion.

From Pathogenic to Salutogenic: Leading from What's Strong, Not Only What's Wrong

Most organizations know their problems in detail but know little about their sources of health. This session shifts the lens from fixing deficits to growing the conditions for well-being. Participants map what is already strong in themselves and their teams, and leave with practices to amplify it.

The Power of Neuroinclusion

Shifting perspectives from disorder to divergence. An accessible, strengths-based introduction to the many ways human brains sense, process, and connect, and to the strengths neurodivergent people bring. Participants explore what masking costs, how neuroinclusion shows up in everyday communication, meetings, and environments, and leave with practical ways to design teams and workplaces where every neurotype can belong.

Book a conversation

Kapwa teaches that we rise and heal together. If something here feels familiar, as if it names something you already knew, perhaps we are meant to follow this journey together. Let's explore what is emerging.

What you can expect from me

  • A companion, not an expert who knows best. Your organization already holds deep wisdom. My role is to serve as a mirror and help you see it.
  • Depth and structure together. Alongside the inner and relational work, you leave with language, practices, and tools you can implement with yourself and your team.
  • Honesty held with care. I name what I sense, including what is hard to hear, in ways that protect dignity.
  • Your pace, not colonial, urgent time. Trust takes time to deepen. We scale deep before we scale wide.
Do you work online or in person?

Both. I'm based in the Netherlands and work globally. I can travel and do on-site activities.

What if we're not sure what we need?

That's a good place to begin. Our first conversation is a space to sense together what your organization is asking for.

How long does an engagement last?

It depends on what your organization needs. Accompaniment is usually six to twelve months; convenings and keynotes can be a single moment.

Do you work only with NGOs?

My focus is on international NGOs, networks, and social enterprises. I also work with educational and public institutions.

Investment, questions and invitation

I believe in access and in fair exchange. Fees reflect the scope of each engagement and the resources of each organization. If access feels hard for your organization, reach out. Together we'll find a pathway that recognizes your dignity and my labor.

If something here stirred recognition, let's talk. A first conversation is a space to sense whether there is a full yes on both sides.
